What a great time last week at the Transport Research Arena (TRA) in Dublin!
Prof. Rade Hajdin presented the latest findings from our ongoing research project Infrarob. Within the special session “Advancing Resilience of Transport Operations and Infrastructure” the latest European research and innovation projects that enhance transport resilience from both infrastructure maintenance and operation perspectives were highlighted.
The session covered two aspects of transport resilience:
- How to improve prescriptive and predictive infrastructure maintenance and minimize network disruptions during maintenance works
- How to cope with disaster response operations and use infrastructure monitoring and multimodal traffic management systems to assess and mitigate network damages and disruptions in passenger mobility and freight.
