At the 20th International Probabilistic Workshop (IPW 2024), held at the University of Minho, Guimarães, Portugal, from May 8-10, 2024, Prof. Rade Hajdin gave a presentation titled “Toward a More Resilient Road Infrastructure.” The workshop served as a global platform for discussing critical topics, including infrastructure resilience, risk assessment, climate change impacts, and innovative decision-making frameworks.
Prof. Hajdin’s presentation focused on the concept of resilience within the context of diverse hazards and uncertainties. It commenced with an overview of resilience and its significance, followed by an exploration of methodologies for measuring, computing, and improving resilience.
