We are proud to celebrate our team member, Neryvaldo Galvão who was awarded the Cabo Verde Prize for Young Scientists (PYS) by Governo de Cabo Verde on January 16th. This prestigious prize recognizes the achievements of his doctoral thesis entitled “The impact of human errors on the performance to failure of concrete bridges” developed under the supervision of Prof. Rade Hajdin. The PYS is awarded to young Cape Verdean researchers under 35 years old with an outstanding track record. The prize highlights the commitment of the Governo de Cabo Verde to science, awarding 13’000 CHF to the winner.
